About

Kim Moser is an inspiring figure in the realm of paranormal research and folklore, and we are honored to have her as the 2024 Mistress of Ceremonies. A distinguished alumni of the 2023 Halifax Paranormal Symposium, Kim’s deep connection to the paranormal is rooted in her admiration for the late Nova Scotian folklorist, Helen Creighton. Born on Canada’s East Coast into a family of entrepreneurs, Kim’s path to success seemed almost predestined. She holds a Business Management degree from Holland College and a Small Vessel Operator’s Proficiency from the Nova Scotia Community College’s Nautical Institute. This strong educational foundation, combined with her creative spirit and folklorist heritage, has driven her to excel in her field. Kim's foray into paranormal storytelling began with her podcast, Boos and Bourbon, where she captivates listeners with intriguing and eerie tales. Her passion and dedication led her to become an investigator and co-host, eventually rising to the role of Production Manager on the popular Eastlink television series Haunted. Recently, she has expanded her investigative work, collaborating with YouTube host Lomar Mendz on paranormal explorations. Kim Moser is recognized for her extensive experience in paranormal investigation and research, having explored some of the most haunted sites in the United States, including Waverly Hills Sanatorium, the Conjuring House, the Lizzie Borden House, Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop, the Witch House in Salem, and the St. Augustine Lighthouse, among others. Her approach to investigating paranormal activity is grounded in practicality and a healthy dose of skepticism, ensuring a balanced and credible perspective.
