About
Ashley Wong is the founder of Made by a Real Witch™ and an instructor in structured Automatic Writing and intuitive development. With over two decades of personal practice in Automatic Writing and years of public teaching experience, Ashley is known for her grounded, historically informed approach to altered states and written channeling. Her Automatic Writing classes have received Platinum recognition in Western Canada across multiple years, reflecting both the depth of the material and the integrity with which it is taught. Rather than approaching the practice as spectacle, Ashley frames Automatic Writing as a disciplined and reflective method of accessing insight through intention, structure, and discernment. Now rooted on the Atlantic Coast of Nova Scotia, she continues to develop workshops and educational offerings that bridge historical context, personal experience, and practical application. Her work emphasizes clarity, boundaries, and thoughtful exploration within the broader field of consciousness studies.Sessions
Automatic Writing has long existed at the intersection of spiritual tradition, psychology, and creative trance states -yet it is often dismissed as performance or imagination. In this grounded and experiential workshop, Ashley Wong introduces the practice as a disciplined skill developed through intention, structure, and lived experience. Having begun her own practice in 1999, Ashley approaches Automatic Writing as something cultivated over time through repetition and discernment. Drawing from personal case studies and historical context - including documented family lineage connected to late 19th-century trance and divinatory traditions - she explores how written channeling can evolve into a meaningful and verifiable practice. Participants will be guided through a contained, beginner-friendly exercise designed to introduce the writing state in a safe and supportive environment. No prior experience is required.
